Meet the Literary Sisters

Shana Burton is the best-selling author of Catt Chasin', Suddenly Single, First Comes Love, and Flaws and All. She lives in Georgia with her family and is currently a high school English and Journalism teacher and the co-host of "The Lovely Magazine" radio show. She was a 2009 Georgia Author of the Year nominee for Best Fiction (First Comes Love).






Dwan Abrams is the best-selling author of When the Fairytale Ends (the 2nd book in the Married Series), My Mother's Child (the anticipated sequel to Divorcing the Devil), Married Strangers (the 1st book in the Married Series), Divorcing the Devil (nominated for the 2008 African American Literary Awards Show), Only True Love Waits (winner of the 2007 Pen of the Writer POWER Award for Best Fiction), The Scream Within, and Favor (a short story appearing in The Midnight Clear: Stories of Love, Hope and Inspiration anthology). She's the founder and facilitator of the Just Write! Workshop. Dwan is also the editorial director for Nevaeh Publishing LLC, a small press independent publishing house. Her novel, For the Sake of Love, will be released in January 2013. She currently resides in a suburb of Atlanta, Georgia with her family.


Kendra Norman-Bellamy is a licensed minister, motivational speaker, national bestselling author of 19 books, and the founder of KNB Publications LLC. She and her award-winning books have been featured in several national magazines, including Essence, Upscale, Precious Times, and HOPE for Women. Kendra is the creator of M-PACT (acronym for: Motivated Pens And Creative Thoughts), a national focus network for serious writers. She currently resides in metropolitan Atlanta, Georgia.
